Reapers Women Heading to Nationals June 29 - July 4
Four of the Lady Reapers have been chosen for the Saskatchewan Provincial Rugby team to represent our province in the nationals. The nationals are taking place in Toronto from June 29 to July 4. The four members are Bonnie Buchholz, Cathy Mitchell, Jo Tichkowsky, Tara Luchynski. The ladies recieved a very appreciated donation to help send them to Toronto from Bi-Systems Electric Controls ltd. The girls would like to express thier appreciation to Bi-Systems for their much needed support.
Rugby Fest in Edmonton
Looks like the men and women of the Reapers Rugby Club had thier usual fun time at this years rugby fest. The men 10's team managed to win the tournament by putting up 67 points in 40 minutes of the final game! Stay tuned for some rugby fest pictures in the fanzone section. Thank you to all the Reapers that showed up and represented the club on and off the field. Heal up with the time off and take some tylenol if you still have a headache.
Festival of Rugby a Huge Success
24 Junior High and High School teams competed in this years Festival of Rugby at Bishop Lloyd Middle School. The quality of rugby this year was very impressive and shows just how much rugby has grown in Saskatachewan these past couple years. Thank you to all the Reapers and volunteers who did an excellent job of organizing and helping make this tournament a success!
